The chorus of Final Fantasy 9's theme song Melodies of Life sings: "Voice from the past, joining yours and mine. Adding up the layers of harmony". Those lyrics echo deeply and profoundly as I indeed found multiple 'layers' of greatness within the game that defined and redefined my life as I grew older. I am honored now to share them with you.
