P.S — Would these farms still accidentally contaminate food stocks if they were growing food for themselves AND for the country? Would they contaminate it if it wasn’t just a product for sale? These are things I think about. Large agribusiness and factory farms can equal cost-cutting. Cost-cutting can equal bad practices; like using untreated water for irrigation. If this bugs you, think about agriculture when you vote with your dollar. // END Sidebar.
P.P.S — Something else E.Coli is good for… outside the body e coli can be used as a marker for water contamination, meaning their presence shows the water isn’t safe, even if they themselves are fine. It’s sometimes called your second brain because the chemicals excreted by microbes in your intestines can change your mood and level of alertness, can help digest your food, keep you healthy and free of other infections… and that’s just scratching the surface.
