What makes a film good or bad? It's not what you think.
So there’s been a lot of discussion on the increasing use of CGI and green screen in films lately, with the general consensus, at least in what I’ve been watching, that it’s a negative trend. And while I completely agree with this, I feel that no one has nailed exactly why CGI almost always results in a negative effect on the film. This video originally set out to answer that question, but while thinking about it, I started thinking more about what makes a film good or bad in the first place, and decided to make the video about how movies come to be good or bad in the first place.
