No two days are the same for our response policing officers.
Following the initial training at the Scottish Police College, all new recruits have a two year probationary period. This is spent working in response policing responding to emergency and non-emergency calls from the public. This could be anything from a report of domestic abuse to a missing person, a sudden death or an ongoing burglary.
