Agriculture is one of Kenya’s most important sectors, contributing a third of the country’s gross domestic product and employing more than 40 percent of its population.

Last month, the Global Landscapes Forum brought together over 7,000 people online and in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, for a series of conversations around sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, land degradation and the climate crisis.

At GLF Nairobi 2023: A New Vision for Earth, the Food Systems, Land Use and Restoration #FOLURImpact Program hosted a conversation focusing on sustainable value chains in Kenya.

Watch this interview with experts Elijah Kathurima Gichur and Anne Fidelis Itubo to learn how Kenya can build sustainable #valuechains and implement a landscape approach in its agricultural sector, especially in coffee and cocoa production.
