1. What does the Bible say about women wearing jewelry? Deborah | Email (Shelley)
2. Who were the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6:2–4, and do they still exist today? Does this passage mean that angels had relations with human women, resulting in beings who were half angel and half human, and that these beings were giants and very strong? Can you clarify what Genesis 6:2–4 means, and does the word “Nephilim” actually appear in the Bible, or is it translated differently in some versions? Who were the Nephilim in Genesis 6?
3. Will babies who die remain babies in Heaven for eternity?
4. I recently went through postpartum depression caused by birth trauma and previous losses. I often find myself wondering: Does having depression mean that I don’t trust in God? Does it mean I will be lost because I am still taking antidepressants and haven’t healed yet? Is there a relationship between depression and demon possession? Can depression affect our trust in God?
5. Can you please explain the meaning of Hebrews 6:4? Does it mean that if someone falls away from the faith and later returns, they can no longer be saved?
6. How do you tithe when you own a business? Should tithing be based on the business’s monthly profits, even though the business could have a loss the following month? Or should you tithe only on the income you personally receive from the business, since that would be your actual increase? And if you eventually sell the business, would you tithe on the proceeds from the sale? How should a business owner calculate their tithe?
7. Is God’s book of law different from the Ten Commandments?
8. Who are the dead saints in Matthew 27:52?
9. I regularly choose to stay home on Sabbath rather than attend church because I prefer focused Bible studies and feel comfortable at home. There’s also no hassle of dressing up. Am I being defiant or disobedient since Scripture speaks about the fellowship of the saints? Does Scripture require us to attend church?
10. Where does the Bible say God won’t give us more than we can bear?
11. Can you please explain Deuteronomy 12:15–16? Does this mean we can eat anything as long as we don’t eat the blood?
12. Why did God want to kill Moses, as mentioned in Exodus 4:24? Since God had chosen Moses to lead His people, and surely loved him, why would He want to kill him? Why did God want to kill Moses in Exodus 4:24?
