Through the landscapes of Bulgaria and the mystery of a child painter, Nina Roza becomes a quiet meditation on home, memory, and reconciliation.
In this video essay, I reflect on return and its relation to loss and identity, not only geography. I place the film in conversation with my own Ghanaian play on return, exploring how different cultural contexts wrestle with the same question: what does it truly take to go back and face what we left behind?
