To frog means to rip out what you've crocheted, because you've made a mistake that you want to fix or you no longer want to complete a WIP and you want the yarn back, and this is where the term "frog" comes from because "ribbit" and "rip it" are so similar.

How do you frog in crochet?

🐸 Remove your crochet hook.

🐸 Grab the strand of the working yarn.

🐸 Start pulling to remove existing stitches.

🐸 Frog back to a specific spot, in which case you'd reinsert your hook and continue working, or frog all the way back to the beginning.
