Flipping through my art that I did for university. Regarding my craft, I wasn't really taught anything new and I think that studying art is not about that, at least at my university. However "pushing you out of you comfort zone" isn't their goal either and I hope that becomes clearer. You can do what you want, as much as you want, and stay in you comfort zone, as long as it looks like art.
So before you consider studying make sure you know what's going on. And last but not least: No I didn't waste any money. Studying is still free in Germany and to become an art teacher it is obligatory to go through all this.
