London Plus is a charity that works to empower community groups and other charities across London and make them stronger, inclusive and resilient. They wanted to raise awareness for their initiative London Communities Emergencies Partnership (LCEP), which mobilises organisations across London before, during and after an emergency, and they reached out to London College of Communication (LCC) to support this through visual communication.

BA (Hons) Animation and MA Music Production LCC students worked on this brief to create 2 animated films and their accompanying soundtracks. The first film aimed to build awareness for LCEP and the second film explored the wider resilience and emergency structures in London and how LCEP fits into that.

Credit: This film was produced by Natalia Bednarova (creative lead), Jess Wilcock and Veronika Ipserova with a soundtrack by Diego Garcia Martin with the voice of Caitlin Macdonald.
