I see a lot of one dimensional information out there on this subject. All men must be "Alpha Male" and all women need to be the "submissive housewife" is a rather popular narrative currently. I try to discuss this issue in a little more detail. After all it is a pretty important thing! If we want to attract a partner then we should at least be mindful of what they find attractive and be honest about what we are seeking. That way you have at least a chance of success and some degree of happiness if it works out!
I spent many years working with groups of men, especially the kind that designate themselves as "Alpha" (Note - no seriously competent guy does that), so I have a pretty fair idea what they were seeking. I also know they were pretty confused and contradictory on this whole issue! I think the same can be said when the roles are reversed. I try to bring some common sense to this chaos
