Tyranny is arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power, abuse of authority, oppressive or unjustly severe governance, or treatment with extreme undue harshness.
The younger generation is being left a world of censorship, control and ever decreasing personal freedoms. This is the fault of the (my own) baby boomer generation. We were hypnotized with ever increasing wealth and entertainment. We didn't realize that freedom wasn't free. The price one pays for freedom is constant overseeing of those whom we grant the power to govern our nations and make our laws.
The young adults are showing remarkable courage as they stand up to this evolving police state. They know in their hearts that it is better to die on your feet than serve on your knees.
The youth of today have an uphill battle to regain even a portion of the freedom and lifestyle the baby boomers enjoyed. The world economy is in tatters, the enviornment is decaying at an alarming rate. Yet, when they dare stand up to speak the truth to power, they are being corralled up like cattle, being taken in for the slaughter.
God bless and watch over those with the courage to stand and protect their creator endowed freedoms.
