Lowland areas on the near side of the moon are gouged with peculiar river like valleys. What created these strange rivers on the Moon? These seem to cut nearly straight lines between points of no apparent significance and appear to follow crustal faults that pierce high and low ground alike. Many theories have been proposed as to what caused them. In this episode, we will explore how those theories have changed over the years and also explore an alternative explanation that may fit all of the observations.
