Update: I personally sent an email to the Mayor of Bisbee, David Smith, in praise of Officer Silva's "good sport" attitude and his contributions to the arts and culture of Bisbee, and I requested that Officer Silva be promoted. I also sent a link of this video to Officer Silva's email, so he can watch. Also, I am working on a second version to be released, with subtitles so you can hear what he is saying better.

IF YOU ARE LAW ENFORCEMENT, please listen to Officer Silva's philosophy on policing. Notice his psychological techniques in deescalation and consider applying it to your daily work. He is a a really good example of how police should interface with the community.
