Now, a drought happens when this water cycle gets interrupted, and an area doesn't get enough rain for a long time. But why does this happen? There are a few reasons:
Changes in Weather Patterns: Sometimes, the usual weather patterns change. This can be because of things like wind currents in the atmosphere moving in different ways. When these patterns change, some places don't get as much rain as they usually do.
