Avowed is a very good RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, and it does a lot of things right. One, you can be a wizard with a gun. Two, it gives you lots of ways to learn about the LORE in the fantasy world of Eora. Polygon's Clayton Ashley uses the early-game Dawntreader quest to show why Avowed is so good at telling its story.
