Here's my Secret Santa video for S Crowley!
Tbh I wanted to edit with all the songs you had listed, but in the end I went with this one because I had a heap of inspiration for it, and Nickelback is one of my favourite bands (but also, I have to say, Rob Thomas is an amazing artist, isn't he? ; v ;)
I tried to follow your movie preferences as closely as possible with what I had, I hope I did okay!

so..... the dramatic reveal of why i asked you for those five + klaus scenes :mood:
this video went through a bunch of incarnations !! first it was gonna be a goldfinch-centric video to you get me so high by tnbd, THEN we watched tua and i was like. if i cant edit with tua for you then im going to edit a tua song with your fave medias and THEN i got the idea of searching for five scenepacks bc there was no way i could download all the episodes before Christmas™️ and THEN you offered to send me the only other scenes i needed so here we are
i was super happy to get you for daves ss esp bc you already made me such a cute gift for it so i hope this measures up !! youre a wonderful person and i have so much fun talking to you, when we were watching tua together i was always so excited for that message that meant wed continue watching !! it was super cool to finally edit with it, esp as a gift to the person who introduced me to it !! and ofc i couldnt resist adding a bit of tgf.... my og plan was to add some of IT but then i got distracted editing tua whoops slHDJK, anyway i hope you enjoy watching this bc it was so much fun to make !!

it is 12am rn but i finished this with literally 10 minutes to go before i had to leave for work and there was NOT enough time to render and upload it before i left...... fortunately i have no self preservation and WILL stay up just to get this uploaded as soon as possible !!

i gotta be honest. i did not know at LEAST 60% of the media on your doc but the ideas had for what i DID know.... i want to say a personal thank you for getting me to FINALLY edit with carmen sandiego, the carmengray relationship is so complex and interesting to think about and you can really tell how much they care about each other regardless of what side theyre on - so though its not my personal favourite aspect of the show (i could talk about the found family for HOURS), when i saw it bolded on your list i knew what i wanted to work with !!
im gonna leave this there in hopes of getting to sleep at a reasonable time - but this was super fun to put together for you and i hope your holidays have been lovely !!
