Max and Mr Jefferson carry out their illicit love affair behind closed doors. By day they play the roles of teacher and student, but lines begin to blur with each second that passes by. Mark agrees that they’ll leave Arcadia Bay after Max graduates from Blackwell Academy - Then the entire world will be their canvas.
Things seem to be picture perfect. Prefect that is, until Chloe confronts her best friend about the missing girls and their connection to Mark Jefferson, since he came to town. Subsequently, throwing her hands out Max instinctively rewinds for the first time as her subconscious regurgitates the truth about Mr Jefferson that she is not ready to face. But Max learns that if you want love you have to work hard for it and so she rewinds all the way back to the first day they met, desperately trying to learn anything that can save Mark Jefferson from the darkness within. One way or another it will all end.
