Today, after eating some delicious Korean Barbeque for lunch, I finish off the work week and then check out, "Loop", a new art installation on Broadway, just south of Times Square. Loop is an installation by artists Olivier Girouard and Jonathan Villeneuve that was originally conceived for Luminothérapie, Quebec’s largest annual competition for temporary public art installations. Each loop depicts a simple zoetrope type animation and music depicting a famous fairytale. The animation is powered by the movement of a lever accessible to anyone wanting to experience the art.
