Are you struggling to hold onto a promise? Contending for healing? Longing to me married?
The Lord is so near to us, He is a good Father and He is able to provide! And our consistency in prayer can be a key to unlocking His provision.
Matthew 7:7–8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Scholars believe the wording here suggests a rising intensity. It’s a sort of poetic arrangement, where ask is that first, single request we make, seek refers to something more persistent, and knock implies a deep persistence.
In other words, we should: 1) Ask; 2) Seek again; and 3) Knock harder.
Forming a prayer habit (like putting the key in the car) can be a great help in remembering to ask, seek and knock! Knowing that our Father is good, and He is faithful!!
