Grand Canyon: A Giant in the Landscape

The Grand Canyon, carved by the Colorado River, is a massive canyon located in Arizona, USA. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŒŠ Itโ€™s so big, itโ€™s about 277 miles (446 km) long and up to 18 miles (29 km) wide in some places. Imagine, thatโ€™s longer than 4,000 football pitches lined up end to end! ๐ŸŸ๏ธ And itโ€™s not just a cool place to explore โ€“ it's a home and playground for lots of different animals! ๐Ÿฆ‰๐ŸฆŽ

Who Lives in the Grand Canyon? Let's Meet the Residents!

California Condors: These giant birds with super wide wings soar high above the canyon. ๐Ÿฆ… They're one of the world's rarest birds!

Rock Squirrels: These cute, bushy-tailed critters can often be seen scampering around looking for yummy nuts and seeds. ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ๐Ÿฅœ
