Here's the final seven and a half minutes of a Donahue interview with legendary comedian Bob Hope as aired over WGN Channel 9, followed by a commercial break and small "bozonus."

Recording coming in midway as audience members pepper Bob with such questions as whether he or any of his staff were denied entrance to any country, and about what famous world figures impressed him and had an influence on his own life (for whatever reason he seems to have considerable difficulty either hearing or understanding the quite reasonable and clear questions and he comes off looking like a bit of a jerk)

Though audio-only (and from New York City instead of Chicago), heres an historically significant (and lost) broadcast from March 1st 1964 of a Sunday-night panel show then airing on WNEW Channel 5 called Under Discussion. This was transferred from an open-reel audio recording (pictures of which are shown throughout the video).
This series was started after the station fired Open End host David Susskind, whose first stint with the station began in 1961-62 after his first home, WNTA Channel 13, was sold to an educational consortium (which would turn it into non-commercial WNDT, now WNET) - and who had gotten into one too many battles with the then-management of WNEWs parent, Metropolitan Broadcasting, division of Metromedia, Inc. (He would move to WPIX Channel 11 for a three-year interval, 1963-66.) This show had a different set of hosts, including as will be mentioned in the next paragraph. (Its run may have ended after Channel 5, by then under different station management, brought Mr. Susskind back to helm what would now be called The David Susskind Show and would run without much incident at the station until a few months before his death in 1987.)
The topic of this edition is The American Teen-Ager Today, moderated by Dr. Harold Taylor, and the panelists (in order of introduction) are: Beatles producer George Martin; Charles King, executive director of Wiltwyck School for Boys; David and Lisa co-star Keir Dullea (later to find immortality in 2001: A Space Odyssey); Ruth Whitney, executive editor of Seventeen magazine; Robert Paul Smith, author of Where Did You Go? Out. What Did You Do? Nothing.; WMCA (570 AM) disc jockey B. Mitchel Reed; and psychiatric social worker Oscar Rabinowitz.

(starting at 43:44) Topics dealt with include worry of how this generations teens will turn out, juvenile delinquency, immobilization of youth, the Peace Corps, teens rebellion towards older people, an incident on board a train The Beatles were riding in (which seemed to have made its way into their A Hard Days Night film), parents relationship to teens, and distinguishing between sociopolitical and economic in discussing this issue

In final segment (starting at 1:03:44), discussions include differences among youths in different areas, social sense of Scarsdale vs. slum dwelling teens, who in this age group is considered creative, George expounding on Rabinowitz points about education as it relates to music and crediting teens with realizing good and bad, the danger of set standards, what adolescents want, and teachers role in shaping pupils; moderator closes program by noting about sensitivity of young to values around them, and moving when asked to next level
