Here's a complete(ish) broadcast (apart from one cartoon having to be cut by us to avoid YouTube blocking) of Tom and Jerry on Afternoon Fun, as presented over WFLD Metromedia Channel 32.

On this day, two of the Tom and Jerry cartoons were from within the run of The Tom and Jerry Show, which ran on the ABC Network (and in Chicago via WLS Channel 7) from September 6th 1975 to December 13th 1975; these made-for-TV shorts were intermixed in MGM's syndicated package alongside the 1940-58 theatrical cartoons, the 1961-62 Gene Deitch lot, Chuck Jones' 1963-67 version, and post-1948 cartoons including those directed by Tex Avery and the Droopy, Spike and Tyke, and Barney Bear series; and by this point, the abysmal 1980-82 Filmation Tom and Jerry Comedy Show installments (one of which is the last cartoon of the day) were also incorporated into this package.

Bumpers indicating commercial breaks and a return to the show are seen after and before each cartoon (voiceovers by Maggie Brock)

NOTE: This is to replace two earlier, now broken (unplayable) video postings, preserved as unlisted videos here to save the original comments: youtu.be/87RI02GVyNY and youtu.be/-aDncRNKZAo

About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:

The MCCTv (FuzzyMemoriesTV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s to early 80s, mostly) recorded off of TV (in Chicago or other cities now too); things which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally.
