Crews have installed more than 4000 concrete track panels, from Kensington to South Yarra. They clipped 236 pieces of Australian-made steel rail on top, welding them together to form a continuous rail line.

We’ll start train testing later this year – one step closer to delivering more trains, more often and creating more capacity on Melbourne’s rail network.
