Westworld season 3 finale was full of philosophical debate about humanity's ability to make its own choices, instead of accepting a higher power's decrees about what it is that they should do. The finale had a lot of echoes from The Age of Enlightenment when philosophers and political thinkers pushed ideas that put reason and critical thinking at the base of morality and agency.
