Continuing our tour of the Game of Thrones doors in Northern Ireland, we visited Newcastle beneath the mighty mountain Slieve Donard and the lovely Enniskillen where we met some real characters at Blakes of the Hollow.
Newcastle is very close to Tollymore Forest Park in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, which served as the lands about Winterfell in season 1, while Enniskillen is near to the Marble Arch Caves geopark where one of the caverns -- Pollnagollum (what a name!) Cave -- served as the hideout of Beric Dondarrion and the brotherhood without banners in season 3.
