In this video, Kevin Denis, Werner's Technical Services Manager, talks about roofing kits. These versatile systems are suitable for residential and commercial roofs, but they are often misused. Kevin reviews the fundamentals of installation and uses on a residential roof.

Each roofing kit includes a harness, an anchor, and a lifeline with a rope adjuster and energy-absorbing lanyard. The harness is straightforward—inspect it, put it on, and adjust it. Kevin focuses on the anchor and lifeline. The A210400 anchor mounts on the roof peak and gains strength by connecting to the truss with 12 screws or nails. Key points include installing all screws by hand, pulling the anchor within 22 1/2° of center, and possibly needing multiple anchors.

The lifeline connects to the anchor, and the rope adjuster allows for travel restraint and fall arrest applications. Proper planning and correct installation are crucial. For more details, visit our website at wernerco.com/us.
