WeRide Robobus at Zurich Airport Runs Without Driver @WeRideAI

We’ve reached a major milestone on the road to fully driverless #L4 operations: the front‑row safety driver has been removed from our #Robobus shuttle service at Zurich Airport!

The Robobus now runs without anyone behind the steering wheel, transporting airport staff between the airport's main complex (Gate 101) and the maintenance yard (Gate 130). Operations are supported remotely from a dedicated cockpit, with a safety person seated at the back of the bus.

With this deployment, we demonstrate safe, reliable real-world performance – marking a significant step toward scaling fully driverless Robobus services across #Europe.
