A new market in Denmark called WeFood is making an effort to reduce waste and provide a place for people with limited income to get good food at a good price. They are doing this by selling food that other stores would throw out, food that is past it's expiration date and produce that is defective (which generally just means misshapen). By doing this they are able to offer prices 30%-50% lower than other stores, and they are helping to greatly reduce food waste.
