Hello! My name is Mhara Starling, I am a Welsh folk Witch. Originally from the Isle of Anglesey, I grew up immersed in the myths and lore of the land. Welsh is my first language, and here on my channel we explore all things related to Welsh magic, lore, myth, and witchcraft!
In this video we take a look at the various spirits that exist in Welsh folklore and folk belief. From the apparitions of the dead, to the bwganod that lurk in the shadows, the Ellyll that dwell in every hollow, to the fearsome personifications of death that tread the valleys and bogs. Allow me to introduce you to some Welsh terminology surrounding these entities, and the lore behind them!
