Recently, Disney released the live action remake of their classic 2002 animated film, Lilo & Stitch. Although the remake has proven to be polarizing online due to the many changes it makes to the original film, it has nevertheless made a lot of money at the box office. It was pretty much guaranteed that a Lilo & Stitch 2 was inevitable, but I don't think anyone expected it to be announced so soon!
