Alberta sales tax 5% but lots of consumer goods prices and services are way more expensive than in Ontario (13% sales tax) BEFORE taxes!
Alberta Govt is pretty much right-wing conservative while Edmonton is a very left-wing progressive liberal city (socially and politically) similar to Austin Texas where Texas Capitol Building is located and its conservative govt operates!
