Women’s Health Week (6 – 10 September) focuses on the importance of maintaining good health and wellbeing for all women and girls and is a timely reminder for everyone to make their health a priority.
In collaboration with our four MS state and territory organisations, MS Australia has partnered with Jean Hailes’ Women’s Health Week, presenting a week long informative and educational program.
In this video we hear from Dr Julia Morahan, Head of Research at MS Australia, Dr Therese Burke, MS Nurse and Clinical Platform Coordinator at MS Australia, Adriana Condello, who lives with MS, and Co-Chairs of the Parliamentary Friends of MS Group, Senator Deborah O'Neill and Senator Wendy Askew.
The women share why health and wellbeing are essential, health tips for people with MS, why research and advocacy for MS are vital, and personal stories of how MS has impacted their lives.
