As an athlete and musician, Kyle Richardson is redefining what it means to move quickly and creatively through the mountains.
From the summit of Mount Monadnock in New England (pictured here) to the Rockies in Colorado, he’s set numerous speed records that combine running, climbing, cycling and scrambling — blurring the line between sports and reimagining how to cover dreamy lines and distances with his own two feet (and hands).
“I feel the most alive when I’m out moving my body in the mountains, connecting with nature and practicing my craft. The ridges and terrain ahead are a blank score, waiting for rhythm and melody.”
