The Drow are known for many things, most of which are horrific. Of particular note is their merciless treatment of those who do not fit the mold set out for them by the Spider Queen. One such Drow, a woman named Ayache, has learned this the heard way. Stripped of mind and body alike, cursed forevermore to inhabit the form of the spider, Ayache has wandered the bowels of the Underdark for longer than she can remember. But on this day, driven by the need for food, her spindly footfalls bring her to a world utterly unlike the one she knows. The surface.
