Chief Mike Padilla of the Granville, Illinois Police Dept showed me around the digs of this small department. You may recognize his face from a recent pop quiz video in Standard, Illinois (linked below). When he originally offered a tour of the PD, I couldn't turn it down although I do enjoy the self guided tours. It is my belief that these videos assist in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the people. Padilla has always seemed to be a genuine, approachable, kind man, well done Chief. The transparency is always appreciated, the changes made seem small yet are deeply necessary.
