Welcome to the dark nook monster shop. Iโm a special effects artist, a sculptor, a prop maker, and I like making monsters. And I try to do it in a way thatโs approachable for the average person. Plenty of channels on youtube make great stuff and those videos are fun to watch, but the average person trying to learn or just getting started, doesnโt have a thousand bucks to spend on resin and silicone and tools.
I want you to be able to make cool stuff with materials you can get at the dollar store or walmart. Maybe you just want to give your Halloween costume that extra little bit of awesome with a cool prop or effectโฆ or maybe want to make some spooky decoration on a budget. Whatever the case, I want to hopefully inspire you to see all the things you can do, without breaking the bank or having a warehouse full of pro supplies.
