Back with my last planned Deltarune cover for a bit, this time I did a power metal rendition of "Welcome to the City." This was one of the first tracks that stood out to me and I actually released a lofi hip hop version of it first on my channel, Factory Flora. Next week I'll be putting out a Halloween relevant cover and the week after I'll be releasing a song that was put on hold for over a year, so I'm very glad to finally be getting it out for everyone to hear. I love F-Zero and I love F-Zero 99, and after Nintendo added even more content to the game I decided it was time to attempt recording a cover that Ive wanted to do since I started making content like this ten years ago. Im glad I waited because Im very happy with how this turned out. This week I tackled Death Wind from F-Zero for the SNES. Musically it pays homage to Deafheavens Sunbather and visually it pays homage to Ryan Gosling in the movie Drive because he is literally me fr fr and I felt like this all fit together thematically for a song with death in the name in a game about driving. Ill be back with more music soon, so until then stay Scary!

Hey, everyone! Very excited to be putting out this video. Ive been aware of GameGrooves for the last few years but this is my first time getting to be a part of one of their community albums. Bright Sound / Dry Lagoon is one of my favorite themes from the villain arc of the game and I really like how this one came out. It was interesting to figure out the balance between how jazzy I should keep the arrangement to stay true to the original and how much metal influence it needed. I ended up keeping a bunch of the aux percussion from the original version even overtop of the thrash metal drumming I added. Big thanks to GameGrooves for putting this album together, and I cant wait to work with them again in the future. Definitely check out the full album on Bandcamp or Spotify.
