Book 38 on my bookshelves is Four Years Trapped In my Mind Palace by Johan Twiss. When I reread my top 50 books from 2010-2019 to see which ones were my top 10 of the decade, this book ranked NUMBER ONE. This is an amazing story of unlikely friendships, the bonds of humanity, the stories we create out of our lives, and the stories we share with others. My heart couldn't handle this beautiful story that wove modern and historical stories together with a pinch of magical realism. The book itself is pretty standard, so nothing much to share as far as details go, but it truly is an example of what's on the inside counts.
