I am pleased to welcome you to arguably our most personal media platform hosted by CAI, welcome to CAI Patreon. My name is Julien Delagrange, and I am an art historian, contemporary artist, and — first and foremost — the director and founder of CAI.
Thanks to our CAI YouTube channel, it has been an absolute pleasure to get in touch with so many of you. Since day one, I have been responding personally to (almost) all comments, messages, emails, and more. It gives me great joy to meet people sharing my passion for contemporary art. Even more, to help people find their way in the contemporary art world. I adore to share knowledge and inside information, to support beginning artists, to advise new galleries and young collectors, or simply to discuss contemporary art in all its beauty and controversy.
Due to the ongoing growth of CAI, it has become increasingly difficult to stay in touch with our core audience. Interesting questions by loyal subscribers often get lost in the vast amount of comments when publishing a video. Therefore, with CAI Patreon we find the ideal solution for this problem. By offering early access to our videos for Patreons only, I will be able to find and answer all comments by our key audience with as much time and care as necessary.
One of our main objectives is to provide high quality information on contemporary art, in an accessible manner. But for our Patreons, we intend to go a step further. On our Patreon page, we will be presenting behind the scenes insights, extra content on contemporary art, Patreon only videos, and full webinars on how to become a better artist/gallerist/collector. You'll be the first to know our next move with CAI.
The past few months, I have been contacted by numerous 'top-fan' subscribers who are willing to show their gratitude for our efforts and activities. I genuinely enjoy creating these videos and getting in touch with you. I am currently putting 'too much' time in the channel compared to our activities in relation to the potential return on investment. Every week, I also need to work on our gallery program, write articles for www.contemporaryartissue.com, explore new collaborations, work on our publications, take care of our advisory services, and more. By joining our CAI Patreon, you will actively support the creation of our CAI YouTube videos, enabling us to spend more time on creating content for you, resulting in more high quality videos per week.
