A bunch of people made this in 1984 it seems. Or between 1984-1987.
No sounds. No music. Just the thrill. As it should be.
The number of @ goes down later and then goes back up. They probably never counted on anybody getting as far as stages 8+.
You can randomly gain the green shield powerup while collecting @ which allows you to kill an Awful Thing for life but it does not seem to be consistent.
The Awful Things only move when you move so that is nice.
