Then suddenly everyone is in their comments talking about their most traumatic experiences, which we don't want to discredit, but they act as though having a positive experience means they need to reality check the person... It's like you cannot be positive about pregnancy, motherhood, or birth without people thinking you're delusional. It's honestly very weird behavior and I've talked about it before and I will continue talking about it. If the story doesn't apply to you, it probably isn't for you and you should be happy that someone is having such a positive experience. It is not the time to fear monger in their comments or project onto them your own experiences or give unsolicited advice, because I guarantee you they are talking to trusted sources and people who actually know them in person. An appropriate response would be to either
1. Scroll
2. Offer encouragement, prayers and support
3. Send cute emojis
There is too much negativity online and you can talk about your own experiences on your page and when it is appropriate, but to come onto someone elses page and spread negativity is such weird behavior and I'll never understand it. And thats the tea.
