WELCOME BACK FRIENDS! We have an exciting video installed for you, we kick off the day with some spray painting fun at the Cadillac Ranch, to then head down the historic Route 66 street of Amarillo for some antique hunting followed by more spray paint fun at the Bug Ranch. Making our way up to Oklahoma City we just had to make the stop in to see the famous redneck Harley Russell on Route 66! He was a character that's for sure, not for the easily offended. He was very accommodating and happy to help take photos for us and tell us all about his history on Route 66. We spent a long time there with Harley, he played us awesome guitar solos and performed hit Route 66 songs. He was a crack up. We finished with only a little time left in the day but had to squeeze in a visit to Bazaar on 66 in Elk City to see Harley's friend Melody. He recommended her shop, and told us to pass on a message to her "go to hell" hahaha. Melody was an absolute delight, we were late to her shop on close and she let us in to look around and even showed us her private collectable cars. We even found some exquisite antiques for a good deal to bring home to Australia. We had so much fun this day and cant wait to show you all what we got up to in the next video.
