Reviewing the debut full length album "The Splintered Oar" by Weft.

This one man band has crafted a magnificent slab of atmospheric black metal, with an infusion of American folk and progressive death metal shades. The unique presence of violin and strings makes this soundscape truly something to behold.

I do a track by track analysis and give my thoughts on the album as a whole, as well as scoring it out of 10.
