This demo was written around 1996/1997 as a theme song submission for King Of The Hill! The track was later reworked as "Love Theme from Skinheads Kicking Your Ass" on Rock2 by The Dean Ween Group, however its origins can be heard in this demo.
“That's from way back. I know Mike Judge, from Beavis and Butthead and all that. He sent me this pilot for King of the Hill and I thought it was super, I loved the character Mr. Anderson… Somehow, I just sort of like didn’t submit it, and the thing he ended up using as the theme was very similar to what I’d done. So now I revisited it and brought it back. I never forget ideas. Claude kinda conceptualized the title. He said, “It sounds like the soundtrack to a bunch of fucking skinheads kicking your ass.” I said, “Oh. All right.” In the 70s, there were always soundtracks with stuff like “Love Theme From Airport”.” - Dean Ween
