Not the most exciting Progress Log content wise BUT I’m very happy to announce that this is one of 4 Progress Logs going up this month, so hopefully that will make up for it! In this video I work on two 18th century projects, and talk a bit about other costume plans. More information about everything mentioned, and what I got done is down below!
Just as a note, I wouldn’t mind if this was what I accomplished in a week. But this video was filmed over almost a month, which is why it’s a bit disappointing to me. However after listing ALL the things I did (not just the things I filmed) I feel a bit better! Because in addition to making major progress on my 18th Century Turque and 18th Century Robe a L’anglaise I also:
Sewed applique, lace trim, and beads onto the 1880’s bodice. I also finished embellishing the skirt.
Made a light up ball gown and took on my first commission.
Drafted and constructed the top half of a 1920s inspired coat.
Made a cape.
Filmed eight videos.
Photographed two projects.
Made a skirt for my 1830’s project, and a bonnet.
Hemmed a petticoat.
Not too bad considering other things that were going on!
