Fluent in 3 Months | Week 5 Update: What I've done so far, and how I'm switching it up @fi3m | Uploaded March 2023 | Updated October 2024, 38 minutes ago.
As I recorded this I was somewhere between 5 & 6 weeks along in my 3 month project, so I still have more than half of my 3 months remaining. But I wanted to make sure I was updating you on how I was feeling about my progress and what needs to happen to make sure I stay on track!

Follow me on Instagram for more granular updates on my story, as well as regular live summary and Q&A vidoes:

If you'd like to learn alongside me these next 3 months, for your own project, you can aim to have your first 15 minute conversation by the end of your 3 months (with way less of a time-commitment than I'm making for this monster project of mine!), so just go to fluentin3months.com/bc for more info on our "Bootcamp" coaching and community programme! Part of the programme includes the community all uploading update videos like this one so we can cheer one another one in how we're progressing, as well as have milestones to see our true progress over time. You can bet I'll be looking back at this video at the end of the 3 months to compare my progress now with then!

Korean resources:
1. My favourite by far is 90 Day Korean here: fluentin3months.com/90daykorean
It's a very well structured course with lots of "side quests" that help with important aspects of the language, and they include pre-made Anki decks with amazing mnemonics, so I've been absolutely loving it!
2. fluentin3months.com/korean-class-101
Korean Class 101 is what I'm listening to much more now, to help get my listening comprehension up as quickly as possible, since at the moment I only understand very slowly spoken Korean and I need to catch up to regular speed before I arrive in Seoul. Their courses split their lessons up into different levels so you can work your way up progressively harder and get used to it as you climb up the ladder towards naturally spoken speed.
3. talktomeinkorean.com
I'm using their book series as my main book courses to study
