I put the Lumos Ultra through real-world engraving tests on:
- Wood (Basswood rounds) – high-resolution photo engraving
- Relief carving – 3D-style depth engraving on tool handles
- Slate – detailed image engraving using the slide extension
- Stainless Steel – dark marking without spray
- Leather wallets – clean, high-detail engraving with no burn marks
- Clear Acrylic – edge-lit designs for LED bases
- Black Acrylic – ultra-contrast photo-style results
- Glass (Rotary) – high-detail engraving on curved surfaces
- 3D Crystal Engraving – internal laser engraving in K9 glass
