On March 2, 2022, we held a webinar for a licence renewal application for the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station, operated by New Brunswick Power (NB Power).
This #webinar provides information about the application from NB Power to renew its #nuclear facility operating licence for the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. It followed Part 1 of the public Commission hearing, held on January 26, 2022, and precedes Part 2 which starts on May 11-12, 2022. It provided information on NB Power’s renewal application; delivered a brief summary of the CNSC staff recommendation to the Commission; explained how the public, Indigenous Nations and communities, and potential intervenors can participate in the hearing (Part 2).
