The first time I heard these two songs was from a jukebox at a hamburger joint in Giddings Texas around Christmas time in the early 80's...

![George Jones ~ Bringin It Home
I spent some time sharpening this one up a little.
I dont know why they had George buried so deep in the mix but were stuck with that .

![Carl Butler and Pearl ~ The Old & The New
Good album with some great Pete Drake steel on several tracks.
Every track apparently was for the album with none released as singles.

![George Jones ~ The Girl I Almost Knew
This was already on YouTube but this particular recording is muddy sounding with a ton of tape hiss so i worked it over a little. Cant get rid of the hiss but i brightened it considerably.
Recorded ~ June 13 1967 Columbia Recording Studio, 804 16th Ave. South, Nashville, TN – George Jones (George Jones [vcl], Bob Moore [bass] + unknown musicians + Jordanaires. Producer: Pappy Daily) George Jones ~ The Girl I Almost Knew](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GJ-JCCtmpcQ/mqdefault.jpg)
![Webb Pierce ~ I Know It Was You ~ w/ Millie Kirkham
I was in the mood for some Millie Kirkham today so here you go.
This Webb cut was on the Just Imagination 12 LP Decca DL-8728 released in August of 1958 and nowhere else until the Bear Family box set.
I threw in a few hurricane Harvey record collection carnage pictures for no particular reason.
Recorded ~ June 27 1957 Bradley Film & Recording Studio, 804 16th Ave. South, Nashville, TN - Webb Pierce, Mildred Kirkham (+ Hank Garland [gt], Harold Bradley [gt], Lightnin Chance [bass], Buddy Harman [drums], Owen Bradley [piano] + Jordanaires) Webb Pierce ~ I Know It Was You ~ w/ Millie Kirkham](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GJvpUoihbl8/mqdefault.jpg)
